The VT105 is the original Type designation for the M-OV ML6 as specified by the UK government for the RAF. It was used in a transmitter, hence the VT (valve transmitting) in 1941 the unified Common Valve list renamed it the CV1105.
The CV1105 is a triode used as an RF oscillator in medium sized transmitters. G3JLZ reports: the VT105 was used in the master oscillator of transmitter type T1154.
The cathode connects to the pinch with tape and the cathode is a rectangle with rounded ends. The grid extends below the active area of the anode.
