The 6EU7 is a special quality audio double triode. The characteristics are similar to the 12AX7 but it is optimised for hi-fi applications where low noise and hum are critical.
The 6EU7 is NOT pin compatible with the 12AX7, ECC83 etc.

The twin triodes have flanges at the centre of the working face for good heat dissipation
The thin glass tube envelope is 21 mm in diameter and, excluding the B9A base pins, is 49 mm tall.
