The 10F18 is a vari-μ HF pentode. The design use was in AM/FM receivers for both Ac and DC mains without mains transformers and series heater chains.

To achieve low noise operation the anode current is a substantial 12.0 mA.

The solid outer screen with the ends of the grids within. The anode connection is shielded down to the pin.

Made in England.

The thin glass tube envelope is 21 mm in diameter and, excluding the B9A base pins, is 46 mm tall.
