The EZ12 is an indirectly heated full wave high vacuum rectifier. The pin connections are the same as the EZ11 but the rating is twice the voltage and twice the current.
The presence of the word Wehrmacht dates this exhibit to between 1936 and 1945. The EZ12 was still being made in the 1950s.
The stacked anodes, each set at 180 degrees to one another between the mica supports.

The Footless base.
The identification is on the dome. Plan view of the top anode - three cylinders with the large cathode tube within the centre tube.
The classic envelope is 34 mm in diameter and, excluding the Footless base pins, is 79 mm tall.
Reference: Data-sheet. Type EZ12 was first introduced in 1938. See also 1938 adverts.
