This exhibit, the GZ32, is a medium power full wave rectifier for general purpose use. It probably would have been used in audio power amplifiers or modest radio transmitters.
The maximum reservoir capacitor was 60 µF and the minimum series resistance to limit current was 150 Ohms.
The twin rectifier sections. The cathode tube and heater wires can be seen below the lower mica disc. Note that this IO valve is without a locating spigot - it has been broken off.
One anode with side flanges either side of the central active area.
The classic envelope is 44 mm in diameter and, excluding the IO base pins, is 103 mm tall.
