The BR-105050 is a thyratron designed for relay and/or grid-controlled rectifier service.
The anode lead in encased in a glass tube to prevent the discharge being in the wrong place.
The outer box contains the electrodes, the anode on the left and the cathode and heater on the right.
The top mica holds the electrodes rigid at the top of the envelope.
The insulated heater wire is twisted together.
The classic envelope is 38 mm in diameter and, excluding the IO base pins, is 85 mm tall.
