The 6K25 thyratron has a peak current rating of 500 mA, a control ratio of 20 and a voltage drop of 40 Volts. Maximum operating frequency is 20 kHz. This would make it suitable for timebase generation for TV and radar. This valve was designed by Mazda to replace the T31 thyratron. The 6K25 has identical characteristics to the T41 thyratron, also used in post WWII television receivers.
The reverse is plain zinc paint. Unlike 6K25 this example retains the paint on the Bakelite base.
The wide glass tube envelope is 29 mm in diameter and, excluding the IO base pins, is 67 mm tall.
