The Every Ready K23B is a Mullard TDD2A re-badged under the supply deal between the companies. is a double diode triode for battery receivers. The function was as detector, AGC rectifier and first audio voltage amplifier in a superhet broadcast receiver.
The reverse is plain gold coloured zinc paint. The missing top cap would have been of the top hat style.
The classic envelope is 45 mm in diameter, and excluding the B5 base pins is 103 mm tall.
