The RCA 446A is an American lighthouse tube. So called because of its appearance. It is a planar triode valve designed to operate within a co-axial cavity. Between the two glass envelope sections is the grid disc.
The diameters of the sections from top cap down are:- 6, 12, 18, 26 and 31 mm.

The metal skirt of the envelope is 26 mm in diameter and, excluding the IO base pins, is 48 mm tall.
