The CV1476 is as S and pulse magnetron based on the E1326. The design comes in four fixed frequency versions CV1475-8. The CV1476 is nominally tuned to 3.313 GHz.
The threaded anode connection. The probe would be sited in the output waveguide. The anode would be earthed with the cathode at a very high negative potential.
The cathode has an identification as to the correct lead for the connection and is fixed to one side of the heater. The flexible leads are surrounded by articulating ceramic beads and terminate in solid pins.
The cathode cylinder is mounted across the width of the cavity. The external magnet poles would be placed across the flat sides of the magnetron.
The finned centre of the envelope is 77 mm in diameter and is 37 mm tall.
