The CV5214 is a special quality close tolerance double triode for use in computer circuits. This valve is interesting from the fact that no attempt has been made to separate the two sections on the base pin out.
The CV5214 is designed for a service life in excess of 10,000 hours and operation where a triode may be run fully cut-off for long periods. The obvious application is in the bistable circuit.
The triode sections have copper grid supports.
The box section anodes are ribbed for greater rigidity from the thin sheet nickel.
The thin glass tube envelope is 17 mm in diameter and, excluding the B7G base pins, is 59 mm tall.
