The CV1198 is an indirectly heated triode based on the AD/P4. The design purpose was for line scanning in TV circuits. The old service code was the Navy NR94.
CV1190 refers to a pair of CV1198s selected such that with 1.0kV on the anode, with a 100kΩ anode load and an anode current of 4.75 mA, the control grid voltages are within half a volt of each other.
The crown and the number 2102.
The flat anode face view. The cathode is flat and the grid has cooling fins above the top mica.
