The CV5234 is a triode Thyratron designed for industrial control applications. The peak current is 20 Amps.
The UX4 base also has a locating pin for bayonet bases.
The ceramic insulator appears to shield the grid connection.
The anode is directly sealed into the glass tube and offers the best opportunity for forced air cooling if required.
The anode dish with top cap connection.
The wide glass tube envelope is 38 mm in diameter, and excluding the UX4 base pins is 103 mm tall.
