This M-OV experimental tube type E2597 has the serial number 36. The box has written in pen LN109 but no details of this Type have yet been found.

There is no visible glow from the heater at 6.3 or 12.6 volts and at 20 Volts it only take 70 mA and still does not glow.

The darkened glass makes observation difficult but with care the electrodes can be identified.

The base with corroded pins. The copper supports for one of the grids is visible.

The thin glass tube envelope is 20 mm in diameter, and excluding the B9A base pins is 48 mm tall.
