The PCF82 is a television frequency changer from the VHF television era. Each section has its own cathode brought out to a pin. The pentode voltage rating is higher than the PCF80.
The triode is on the left with the axis of the pentode at 90 degrees to the triode.
As was the UK custom at the time items were either 'Made in Great Britain' or were classified as 'Foreign'.
The thin glass tube envelope is 21 mm in diameter and, excluding the B9A base pins, is 47 mm tall.
References: Data-sheet & 1040. Type PCF82 was first introduced in 1953. See also 1953 adverts.
