The 6P7G is a triode pentode mixer. It is fitted with an IO base cap. The 6F7 has the same operating characteristics but is fitted to the older UX7 base.
The perforated screening can obscures the inner structure of the pentode. The triode section is the small cylinder that shares the common cathode.
The triode grid is just visible. The insulated heater enters the cathode tube below the lower mica.
The pentode anode can be seen within the outer screening can. The connection from the cathode to the suppressor grid and screen is made above the top mica.
The classic envelope is 38 mm in diameter, and excluding the IO base pins is 100 mm tall.
