The 3A3 is an EHT rectifier designed especially for television receiver applications where the input is from a pulse source. As such the anode voltage is specified in terms of the maximum peak inverse voltage and not an RMS input value as with HT rectifiers. The output current has a maximum value of 1.7 mA and for the final anode of a picture tube this is much more than required.
The bell shaped anode covers the cathode and only the supports are visible.
The wide glass tube envelope is 29 mm in diameter, and excluding the IO base pins is 83 mm tall.
