The DY86/87 is a television EHT rectifier. It was designed to have its heater supply produced by an overwind on the line output transformer. The 18,000 Volt rating places this as a rectifier for medium sized monochrome televisions.
The Pinnacle logo.
The bell anode is retained by supports fixed to the top of the envelope.
The lower screen will also prevent any X-rays from escaping.
The multi-point copper connections to the screen, cathode and one side of the heater.
The thin glass tube envelope is 21 mm in diameter, and excluding the B9A base pins is 64 mm tall.
