The Cossor DVS-Pen is a vari_μ RF pentode from 1933 designed for receivers in areas where DC mains was the only choice and thus series heater chains were required. For AC mains sets the MVS-Pen was the alternative.
The DVS-Pen is unusual in having the screen grid taken to the top cap.
The reverse is plain.
The balloon envelope is 44 mm in diameter and, excluding the B5 base pins, is 127 mm tall.
