The 1C5GT is an octal based audio output pentode for use with dry batteries.

The side rod of the previous image is the support for the filament tension spring.
The top mica disc with the filament tension springs at the base of the image. The control grid is held on copper supports. The suppressor grid is wire wound and placed close to the anode.
The wide glass tube envelope is 29 mm in diameter and, excluding the IO base pins, is 60 mm tall.
