The PCL83 is a television valve. Uses include frame generator and output as well as audio pre-amplifier and output amplifier.
The Wire grids of the pentode can be seen. She suppressor grid has a very open pitch.
The pentode: looking face on to the grid axis.
Here the triode grid winding is visible as are two of the pentode grids.
The thin glass tube envelope is 20 mm in diameter and excluding the B9A base pins, is 49 mm tall.
