This exhibit is a 6AU6 RF pentode for use up to 50 MHz. This valve was listed in the Brimar Valve Manual in 1950.
This exhibit has different branding to our other Brimar 6AU6.
The suppressor grid is close to the anode, the screen grid is close wound and circular and the control grid is close to the cathode.
The thin glass tube envelope is 17 mm in diameter and excluding the B7G base pins the valve is 46 mm tall.
