The VX7083 is labelled as a laboratory sample. i.e. has been made in very small quantities. The label also acts as a disclaimer that production valves may differ from the characteristics of the sample valve.

The silvering on the envelope makes examination very difficult.

The thin glass tube envelope is 18 mm in diameter and, excluding the B7G base pins, is 46 mm tall.
