The DP13-34 is an instrument CRT with a flat face-plate and dual phosphor screen. Blue short persistence and yellow-green long persistence. It was designed for oscilloscope use and has post deflection acceleration to give a bright trace and high deflection sensitivity.
The tube was made in three different phosphor versions DB13-34 - short persistence blue trace, DG13-34 - medium persistence green (normal 'scope use) and this one.
The 14 pin base has 12 pins fitted.
The perfectly flat face-plate allows accurate measurements to be made.
The end window envelope is 51 mm in diameter and, excluding the B14A base pins, is 410 mm tall.
Reference: Data-sheet. Type DP13-34 was first introduced in 1957. See also 1957 adverts.
