The Type 59 is an audio output valve from the 1930's that produces an output of 3 Watts single ended or up to 20 Watts as a push-pull pair.
The reverse showing the carbonised anode and three wire grids.
The insulated heaters and the twin cathode tubes within the anode.
The classic envelope is 51 mm in diameter, and excluding the base pins is 117 mm tall.
