The 6BA6 is a variable μ pentode for use at HF. Most probably as RF amplifiers in radio receivers.

This valve arrived in a Ten box - a brand of the Japanese Kobe Kogyo Corporation.

The reverse carries the country of origin.

The outer screen is solid and below the bottom mica is the screened anode lead.

The thin glass tube envelope is 18 mm in diameter and excluding the B7G base pins, is 46 mm long.
