The CV4028 gas discharge voltage stabiliser is the UK Government procurement specification version of the commercial 0B2WA B7G voltage stabiliser.
The regulation of this tube was 3 Volts for currents of between 5 and 30 mA. The CV4028/0B2WA is a special quality version of the commercial 0B2 and the regulation is tighter at 3 volts. The CV1833 is the CV version of the 0B2.
The striking voltage for the 0B2WA is 133 Volts.
The outer cathode cylinder with a central anode rod.
The thin glass tube envelope is 18 mm in diameter and, excluding the B7G base pins, is 45 mm tall.
Reference: Data-sheet. Type CV4028 was first introduced in 1955. See also 1955 adverts.
