The 6080WA is a series pass valve much used in professional equipment. The 6080 family had four variants 6080, 6080WA, 6080WB and 6080WC.The basic 6080 has single mica discs. For a longer life when subjected to vibration the mica discs are doubled as in this case. This is the nature of the speciality quality W suffix.

The plastic pin retainer and central spigot. The base shell lugs have been crimped to hold the plastic in place. The shell is cemented to the main glass envelope.
The wide glass tube envelope is 38 mm in diameter and, excluding the base pins, is 84 mm tall. This is taller than many other manufacturers versions of this valve.
