The Type 30 is a general purpose directly heated amplifier triode for use in battery receivers.
The bright anode and single hairpin filament.
Looking down on the dome the oxide coated filament can be seen as can the electrode spacings.
The lower end of the anode with the grid wires visible.
The classic envelope is 38 mm in diameter and, excluding the UX4 base pins, is 90 mm tall.
