The ECC189 is a high slope VHF double triode and the 6.3 Volt heater version of the PCC189. The frame grid ECC198 was designed to operate from a voltage source with heaters in parallel. The design application was as a cascode RF amplifier in VHF equipment.The thin glass tube envelope is 20 mm in diameter, and excluding the B9A base pins, is 48 mm tall.References: Data-sheet & 1040.
