The Hampshire Collection
The CV322 is a small Kylstron with output through a waveguide probe. The typical construction of such Klystrons can be seen in 723A/B but in the CV322 the tuning is at the top but the reflector is not taken to a top cap connection.
The picture shows the cavity size, and hence tuning, adjustment mechanism.
The wide metal tube envelope is 30 mm in diameter and, excluding the probe and IO base pins, is 68 mm tall. The waveguide probe is 24 mm long
