The CV0327 is the UK government procurement code for the Mullard EF52. The CV0327 is an all glass valve with an aluminium screening case, the same construction as the EF50, it is a straight RF/IF pentode and a member of the Philips EF2x family. See EF22.

This valve was used in the Murphy B40 receiver and all subsequent variants up to and including the B40C. Thanks to Chris Parry for the additional details on this exhibit.

The wide metal tube envelope is 28 mm in diameter and, excluding the B8B base pins 65 is mm tall.
