The Hampshire Collection
The 30C15 is a triode pentode designed for frequency changer use in VHF television receivers.
The triode is the oscillator stage and its output together with the incoming signal would be mixed in the non-linear characteristics of the pentode mixer to produce a much lower IF frequency that was easier to amplify.
The thin glass tube envelope is 20 mm in diameter and, excluding the B9A base pins, is 47 mm tall.
