The Hampshire Collection
The U193 is a television efficiency diode for use in line timebase output circuits.
Typically it will have a heater cathode insulation that is good to 6 kV and a peak current capability of 500 mA. The precise details of this valve we are still looking for.
The side view of the valve shows the anode fins more clearly.
The thin glass tube envelope is 20 mm in diameter and, excluding the B9A base pins, is 70 mm tall.
