The PCC89 is a high gain, Band III VHF, frame grid double triode for domestic television receivers.
When compared to our other PCC89 small changes in design can be seen, suggesting at least two production lines were used possibly in separate factories.
The thin glass tube envelope is 20 mm in diameter, and excluding the B9A base pins, is 48 mm tall.
References: Data-sheet & 1040. Type PCC89 was first introduced in 1959. See also 1959 adverts.
