This exhibit is GE acorn amplifier triode type 958A. It has a 1.25 Volt 0.1 Amp filament.
Stig Comstedt has looked at the differences between the 958 and the 958A and little emerges apart from inter-electrode capacitances.
Use is given as oscillator and power amplifier up to 350 MHz.
The acorn envelope is 14 mm in diameter, and excluding the pins is 32 mm tall.
Reference: Data-sheet. Type 958A was first introduced in 1944. See also 1944 adverts.
