This rectifier was labelled as an HVR2A and without markings on the bulb we cannot identify it. As the HVRA has a B4 base and top cap - this is not it.The construction is interesting and below can be seen the filament strung between its supports and passing back and forth through the anode cavity. It is possible that this is a noise diode and not a rectifier.
The balloon envelope is 47 mm in diameter and, excluding the Ct8 base pins, is 89 mm tall.References: Observation. |
