Here is the Ken-Rad implementation of the 6L7G. The 6L7G was designed to ensure maximum isolation between oscillator and signal, and to provide a mixer which is efficient.The attached PDF applications note gives many uses other than as an oscillator/mixer. It can be used as an audio amplifier and/or as a gain controlled audio amplifier.Thanks to M Asjes for sending the image.
