The 6BA5 is a sub miniature general purpose voltage amplifier pentode with flying leads for direct soldering into circuit. The anode dissipation is 700mW.
The Sylvania lettering in green.
Thanks to Torben Larsen for spotting the error in the equivalents list and sending these images.
The thin glass tube envelope is 10 mm in diameter, and excluding the B8B base wires is 34 mm tall.
Reference: Datasheet. Type 6BA5 was first introduced in 1948.
