HMS Collingwood
The PCL800 is a television valve. It is a triode output pentode, but without operating details it is only possible to say it could have been designed for field timebase or audio service.
The box that this exhibit came in was marked with a price of 1.26 plus purchase tax.
The thin glass tube envelope is 20 mm in diameter and, excluding the B9A base pins, is 69 mm tall.
