The VX7140 magnetron looks superfically like an electric motor. The magnets are internal to the case, and the output is from the waveguide shown on the left of the picture. Cooling fins can be seen behind the waveguide.

This waveguide is physically small and the dimensions probably place the operating frequency about 15-20 GHz. We have no operating details as yet.

The wide metal tube envelope is 125 mm in diameter and, 275 mm long.
