HMS Collingwood Museum
This large triode was for transmitter service and shows disc seal construction. The coaxial filament connections can be seen at the top of the picture. The grid ring is in the middle and the anode at the bottom. Obscured by shadow is the fan fold tape cooling fins within the lower anode ring.
The grid ring is 106 mm in diameter and, excluding the base pins, is 190 mm tall.
