The CV150 is a pulse operated klystron for transmitter use. At 3186 MHz it would produce pulses of 30 kW peak power. The output was coupled from the valve via the 54 x 82 mm waveguide flange.

The wide glass tube envelope is 39 mm in diameter and, excluding the base pins, is 197 mm tall.
