The 62BT pentode was designed as a television line output valve. The anode, taken to the top cap, can withstand a surge of 8,000 Volts, this also explains the ceramic insulators within the envelope. Anode dissipation is 25 Watts and screen grid dissipation is 5.5 Watts.
The classic envelope is 48 mm in diameter and, excluding the IO base pins, is 122 mm tall.
