The DH2 small glass octal valve is probably a double diode. This would be used for signal demodulation etc. The valve is indirectly heated and it looks as though the diodes have separate cathodes.

The wide glass tube envelope is 28 mm in diameter and, excluding the IO base pins, is 47 mm tall.
