The CV1073 is classified as a transmitting triode. It is not a power valve and operates with low current. As a medium impedance valve it was probably not used with a tuned anode circuit. This leaves the possibility of a special purpose function.
The classic envelope is 37 mm in diameter and, excluding the IO base pins, is 96 mm tall.
