The CV181 double triode is of the low impedance type and takes a large heater power for such a valve. The design is a modified NR73. The commercial equivalent is the ECC32.The double triode is found in amplifiers and instrumentation.This valve was popular in the WWII era, and is of pinch construction within a glass envelope.The classic envelope is 37 mm in diameter and, excluding the IO base pins, is 88 mm tall.References: Data-sheet & 1043. |
