The CV181 double triode is of the low impedance type and takes a large heater power for such a valve. The design is a modified NR73. The commercial equivalent is the ECC32.
The double triode is found in amplifiers and instrumentation.
This valve was popular in the WWII era, and is of pinch construction within a glass envelope.
The classic envelope is 37 mm in diameter and, excluding the IO base pins, is 88 mm tall.
