This microwave noise diode represents the limits in valve technology at the end of WW2 (1945). We believe that this device was the service CV2341 valve.
The co-axial envelope is 6 mm in diameter and, excluding the base pins, is 35 mm tip to tip. The fins are 25 mm in diameter.
