The John Lawrence Collection
The TC05/25-01 is a Philips directly-heated (oxide-coated?) transmitting triode of WW2 vintage. This uprated version should be seen in conjunction with the earlier TC05/25.
If operated at 170 Volts on the anode the output would be 3.2 W. Also at full input the power output would drop to 35 W at 2MHz.
The classic envelope is 55 mm in diameter and, excluding the B4 base pins, is 149 mm tall.
