The ACR10 is a three inch electro-statically deflected CRT used by the British Army. It was renamed the CV1382 when the Common Valve system was introduced in 1941.
From the base: flat topped cathode, focus and accelerating electrodes, the Y plates and just under the colloidal graphite final anode the sides of the X plates can be seen.
Turned through 90° the heater wires is visible as well as the side of the Y plates and the V of the X plates.
The base with locating key on the spigot.
The screen is never really flat as the glass at the time had to remain in compression. It was only post-war that toughened flat end-plates were developed as materials science developed.
The end window envelope is 40 mm in diameter, and excluding the B12B base pins is 175 mm tall.
